Orthopaedic
Patients from around the world seek out the expertise of the orthopaedic surgeons at Centennial Medical Center. Our physicians have pioneered some of the latest technologies in orthopaedics, which allow patients more freedom and mobility.The Reverse Shoulder Prosthesis was pioneered by Centennial Medical Center physicians.

This procedure, in which the shoulder socket is replaced with cobalt chrome and ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, essentially changes the center of rotation and gives patients more strength to lift their arm.Centennial Medical Center physicians were also the first to perform MIS Knee Joint Replacement, also known as "Mini Knee" surgery.

This is an advancement in total knee replacement that offers important advantages over the standard surgical procedure. This technique brings together high-quality knee implants and new minimally invasive surgical procedures. MIS Knee Joint Replacement is performed through an incision as small as 3 inches. In some MIS procedures the amount of soft tissue that is disrupted during surgery may also be reduced. Through the same small incision, the diseased surfaces of the knee joint are exposed and then replaced, one at a time, with the artificial joint components.

Surgery Center
The Centennial Surgery Center takes pride in providing the highest quality of care in a warm and pleasant setting. Since the Surgery Center was designed exclusively for outpatient surgery, our costs are generally less than that of traditional medical facilities that must be staffed and equipped to treat all kinds of problems. Each surgeon is surrounded by a highly skilled team of registered nurses and medical technicians specially trained in surgical and recovery care.
